How do I listen to audio via my bluetooth headset???

is this even possible using the plantronics 510 or another headset? i was using a bt250v and it would occasionally pick up a signal from my ppc-6700 and i could actually listen to audio as well as other sounds from my ppc. it seemed to only work temporarily and would stop working after i got a call or sometimes just drop after about 15 seconds. now that im using the 510 i no longer am able to do this at all.

is there a way to listen to audio (video) on a permenant basis via bluetooth headsets using the ppc-6700?

this would be great when im at court waiting or just in the office and away from my desktop.

ive tried the use as headset function but that doesnt seem to do it.

is there a link where i can download & install toggleBT for my PPC without using a kitchen?

also, and this is a separate question, i was thinking of doing the colonel's AKU 3.5 ROM do you have any experience with that and how it affects BT?

im really hesitant on playing around with the ROM....just haven't made that step yet.

I think BigJ's is the best, but others may disagree

I had the same question several months back and found it after searching in this forum. Anyway, with my Jabra BT350, I enable bluetooth on headset and phone, then open MP3 player (eg. Windows Media Player or TCPMP, select a song but do not play it -- i.e. keep in stop mode), then go to Today Screen and Lock the screen.

I wait until backlight goes off, then push my Bluetooth Headset button once or twice until I hear a sound. Unlock the phone, switch to Media Player and play the song.

Pre-flashed rom I had a bt toggle installed on my XV6700 and could stream audio to my Plantronics 640 headset.

Now, with a flashed rom, paired 640, I can't seem to get it working. If I press the togglebt icon, audio start to stream to my headset, HOWEVER it also brings up the Voice Speed Dial window, and the audio only streams for 3-5 second.

My PDA tells me there's no speed dials setup, and ends up on the settings page for voice speed dial.

What, if anything am I doing wrong?

This works like a charm... I came on here this morning to post the same info. Deselecting the Voice dialer make ToggleBT work. Works with my Plantronics 640.

Actually it works with Voice Commander selected, just not the free Voice dialer

I also have the same problem

Is it possible to fix this so it works with the free voice dialer, as I have two of the phones and would not like to spend the money at this time.

I also would not like to have to choose between the two apps.

Someone also mentioned that there was another voice dialer in their kitchen. I wonder if that would work here and is it free??

Thanks for the help.
