Deleting files in ROM

I am having a problem deleting a .cpl file on my ROM. I have BigJ's latest installed. I know that I have deleted files before using Total Commander and supposedly you can do it with Resco Explorer. I have tried both programs and it give me an error on both programs.

Just FYI the cpl file is the one for the Soft Key applet which i somehow installed two of on in my kitchen. The two file names are:

*SoftKeyAppletEx.cpl
*SoftKeyApplet.cpl

EDIT: The reason why i am doing this is because the two icons appear in my settings and well it's annoying :)

Those files are built into the ROM and cannot be deleted. If you want to remove them you will need to build your own from using the ROM Kitchen.

With the current ROM burning process, things really "in the ROM" are located directly in C:\Windows. Things in most other folders can be deleted. That's possible because they are really just copies of something in C:\Windows, created using a initflashfiles.txt script.
