i got this once, and continue to get it if i use picsel browser before using IE after booting my phone. do you have anything set to change the mode, like instead of servers seeing it as PIE they see it as IE6.0? this happened when i tried to do that, i switched back, rebooted, and was fine. Could also be it just hasnt dialed the data line or something. whenever i start IE it says dialing #777 and getting data or something (i have verizon though), so until it says that, i know its not doing anything.

so, in closing... i guess I dont know what the problem is, just that I encountered it once. I suggest making sure its in PIE mode, rebooting some, and making sure you establish a data connection.

Try clearing PIE's cache: Menu|Tools|Options...|Memory|Delete Files

Are you running PIE temp folder from your memory stick?
