HTC Audio Manager
Anyone else get this working on their 6700? I get a popup stating that it cant run because it doesnt have either a trusted cert, or is missing some component.. I have Kirvins Clean & Simple AKU3.5 for Sprint..
I've tried copying the HTC audio manager folder to my device and running the .exe, and then I tried installing the .cab file and neither work..

it works flawless on my HTC. its all I use. But I also use a rom I made with the newest kitchen and its included. You MUST have WMP installed for it to run right now. It piggy backs from WMP

Yah, I have WMP installed.. WMP works fine too..
I remember seeing a cab file in the sprint roms that allowed non certified software to run..perhaps I need to run this?

Possibly? I have an alltel phone on the cricket network... but the only thing that has anything involving alltel left over is my radio.

I have it as an OEM and it installs into my rom just fine.

That's so strange why it wont run for me.. I mean..is it really worth it? do I need to bang my head over this? I dont really listen to music that much on my phone.. I do however listen to alot of mp3s on my X50 that's hooked up to my car..

Its cool, but not that big of a deal. Mostly it just organizes the files in an easier manner.

I don't think its that big a deal, and yes, you have to edit your registry in order to run some non certified programs. if someone beats be to it, please post the registry value. otherwise i'll post it. but it should be stickied in registry tweaks thread, I would think.

got this from jobine as he made a thread on registry tweaks in the Mogul forum. works fo apache as well
1-Unlock Phone (certificate security disabled) rev.1 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1001 = 2 -> Change the value data from 2 to 1 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1005 = 16 -> Change the value data from 16 to 40 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1017 = 128 -> Change the value data from 128 to 144 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Security\Policies\Policies -> Add new value "0000101b": Dword = 1 Close registry editor and soft reboot. ------------------------------------------------
