So long and thanks for all the fish...

A big thank you to everyone here in the Apache forum for helping me get my WinMo tank-phone to work to the fullest degree. I was even able to upstage my boss and her dumb old, iphone. It is unfortunate however in that my tank-phone was utterly destroyed the other day when it was crushed by, of all things, a chair.

But with endings come new beginnings, as I hope to see some of you on the Titan forum (as soon as I get mine in the mail anyway).

So thanks to Gguruusa, PDAPhoneJunkie, Maxx, Weedahoe, Jabu, and anyone else I forgot to mention. You have all been fantastic help.

See ya in the Titan Forum. But trust me, you will stop by here often too. I do all the time. You should by another Apache just for the fun of it I have two sitting around here that I always play with.

Mine's like a tank too, it's like this phone can't be destroyed. I've dropped it, kicked it, thrown it(I'm on call, it wakes me up in the middle of the night), fumbled it, it's unkillable!

Just curious, did you get the titan out of pocket, or did sprint give it to you to replace your apache? (Did they finally run out of apache's to replace?)

Michael

I just wound up picking one up on eBay for about $100. I dont have insurance which bit the big one, I think I may tack it on to my plan when I get the Titan.

I did try to muscle a Titan out of VZW anyway though, and they said they still had Apaches. I guess these things just won't die.

Except when you accidentally crush them with a chair when your friend spills ice cold orange soda all over yourself.

Verizon is late it to get phones, and they are late to stop refurbishing them.
