Unhappy Help with XV6700 newb

I have the apache and I tried to upgrade it to 6.1. I have no idea how but it is stuck in the bootloader mode where it says serial or usb when plugged in and verzion 1.0 on the bottom . I have no idea what to do since this is my first time. I really hope some of you can help because I would like to use this phone. Thank you

Did you flash it yet? I mean did you put it in bootloader, then nothing else happened, or you flashed it, now it's stuck in boot loader?

Re: Help with XV6700 newb

If you're running Windows Vista you need to Turn off your USB Connections in Windows Mobile Device Center, which you MUST have instaled. Try hard resetting 3-4 times then reflash.

I used the RUU for windows mobile 6.1 and at the end it said connection error. After that it would not get out of the bootloader mode.
