arcsoft mms disable popups?

Hello all,
I did a search for this but didn't find the answer.

I have the Arcsoft version 3.0.26.11c on my Apache and it works but is there a way to disable that annoying sending and media sent pop up everytime I send a pic or video?

Thanks All

Re: arcsoft mms disable popups?

With a registry editor navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settin gs Set SMSNoSentMsg to 1

Try that and see if that helps.

You can also use Advanced Configuration Tool to do that as well as other customizations.

Yeah, all it does is the reg edits for you but with a GUI interface. It just makes it easier for those new to reg editing. Glad it worked and you got it fixed.

Re: arcsoft mms disable popups?

Yes I did that Registry Setting mentioned above but that disables sms messages, the one Im talking about is when you send a picturemail messages a popup comes up saying sending media message then that one goes away and the it pops up saying medial message sent, that one wont go away unless you click dismiss. Is there a way to fix that one so it goes away by itself?

Yes, there are reg edits for that. Try this.

Get rid of SMS Delivery acknowledgements (popup and text msg)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\SMS
change “delivery ack” from 1 to 0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
click on “Inbox” then Edit, new key. Name the new key “Settings”
Click on “Settings” and then edit, new string value. Value Name should be “SMSNoSentMsg”, Value Data should be “1″.

since its been mentioned here I'll just perpectuate the thread. I have my reg edited and I don't get any pop-ups persay but if i send an sms its in tree view so it looks like an IM which is greatthe problem is it sends me a text message saying I sent a text message.

e.g.

Caelie
-Hey whats up?
Me
-Not much
Me
-message sent to #######
Caelie
-what are you doing later?
Me
-not much...
Me
-Message delivered to #######

I could do ith out this, I mean by all means notify me if it doesn't send but seriously. So any work arounds for that? I still haven't gotten mms to work with cricket.

Try this: http://howardforums.com/showthread.p...hlight=ARcsoft
Here's the cab you need: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9Q8NM6Y8.
Technically all you need is the Cricket MMS one, but it's got some other good apps in there as well. Then if you're still getting "message sent" notifications, do the OEM/SMS regedit. (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\SMS, change “delivery ack” from 1 to 0)

In your messaging menu, click on "tools" then "options" then tap on "SMS"
Look to see if the box labeled "Request Delivery Notification" is checked, if it is, uncheck it.

That should solve your problem. If it did, don't forget to hit the "Thanks" button
