I downloaded and installed the aku 3.5.4 for my 6700 (Verizon) and it works great except that now when wifi is on, I can't get an internet connection. Any page I try to go to via IE says the page can't be found. Any ideas?

Great Rom, I've been running it for a few days and it's the most stable rom I've used to date. Not sure if the stability is coming from the ROM alone or from upgrading the radio to v1.41. One thing I did notice is that on the dial out phone pad the joystick doesn't do anything. On other ROM's the joystick would let you switch between contacts, dial history, email, etc. Anyone know how to add this functionality to this ROM?

The functionality you seek is in smartskey. It's posted on the downloads page and in the Colonel's 3.3 thread. (I pasted the link from the downloads page.)

I used it with Colonel's ROMs but have not installed it since flashing to JBabey's new-core 3.5.4. I don't want to screw up the most stable ROM I've ever had on this phone.

hi. am new to the verizon xv6700. gt one of them. im in india. i want to use reliance on my verizon xv6700. could sumone plz tell me what to do, and what to flash. and the perquisites to flashing. i want to try and avoid soldering a ruim socket.
