White Screen

Hello All,

I have a question, its not really a big problem cause it only happens once in a while.
Once in awhile when I close my phone the screen will freeze up and fade to a white screen. Does anyone know why it does that? All I have to do is reset the phone and then it works fine.

Thanks

Re: White Screen

Don't know why mine did that, but one did. I just had it replaced, they said it was a hardware issue.

Re: White Screen

I have this issue, but only if I am playing a video in tcmp and either exit with the video playing, or hit the power button with a video playing (or loaded for that matter). Is there anything in common when it happens?

Re: White Screen

I was able to get my phone to reliably reproduce this error by "slightly" pressing on the keyboard when the phone was open... supposedly has something to do with a loose LCD cable... my apache seemed like yours as far as "coming back" after a reset, but I wouldn't be surprised if it DIDN'T come back either... apaches are old, and most are showing their age. It might be time to consider an upgrade, however, your milage may vary.

Re: White Screen

+1 to the last post... sounds like too much in the RAM...... can't be a hardware issue if it's fixed by a reset.... might also be slight moisture damage, I'd throw it in some rice, lol.
