Battery Problems with Replacement Phone
A couple weeks ago the little rubber button on my xv6700 fell off so I went to the Verizon store and they told me I had to call tech support to get it fixed. As annoying as that was, I did what the store told me and Verizon ended up sending me an entirely new 6700 as a warranty replacement all for that stupid little button.
The phone they sent me came without any accessories or battery. I was told to retain the battery from my old one and update my ESN on the Verizon website to activate my new phone. After doing so, I updated to the latest r4 ROM and started using it (my old phone had the Unified 1.0 Rom on it). I immediately noticed the battery starting to drain considerably faster with this new device. So I rebuilt the ROM and excluded things I thought suspect like Weather Panel.
To make a long story short, I am using mostly the same programs I did on my old phone (with no overclocking) except I now have a different ROM. It would be a strange coincidence that the battery would die at the same time I got my replacement device. I've also noticed some other strange things, like the touch screen becoming misaligned within 5 minutes of aligning it in settings.
I'm starting to think I got a bad device from Verizon as a replacement. Are there any good battery analyzers that would be recommended to diagnose this problem?
