Re: Apache dead? Or just the battery?
My 6700 has done weird things like this...primarily, it goes dead within 10 minutes of coming off the charger. Crazy, really.
When it happens to me, I pull the battery out for a few seconds...put it back in...the hold the power button down for about 3 seconds. It should reboot and start working normally. Oh, yeah...when you've got the battery out, check out the contacts on the battery to make sure they are clean. Also, check the flex pins on the phone too for cleanliness and look for warped or broken pins (yes, that would be a bad thing) Hope this helps!

Re: Apache dead? Or just the battery?
I had the same problem and it turned out to be the mini usb port. if you still want to check the battery try charging the battery with your cradle

And the winners are... hibby50 and Derrycka79!
Upon closer inspection it appears that the mini-USB port is damaged. It just kind of wobbles around in the slot. ![]() My gut reaction is to take the phone apart tonight and see if a fix is as easy as soldering a connector back on. Anybody ever take one of these apart? |

Re: Apache dead? Or just the battery?
Did you mean some hardware help? lol ok I'm kidding, while I haven't looked into this problem myself, I know that my old toshiba laptop had this issue, it required soldering 3 pins back into the motherboard, worked fine after that. I imagine the miniusb has ALOT more pins and they are going to be SMALL.
