I am new to this, so excuse me for not being such an expert like you. Also, what's with the cockiness?
Excellent!

Now, breath, and think what a potentially bad thing it is to do something like building a custom ROM, burning it to your only/critical phone, without checking into what to do when it goes bad. Note, the DOCUMENTATION that is right there in the FTP where you downloaded the kitchen image has some info about possible bad things, and what to do...

I am a little skeptical (sorry) because you came in exactly in the "nightmare scenario" mode - you did something easily fixable, you panicked, and then you CALLED YOUR CARRIER for HELP!

That's just about the best way I can think of to get this whole endeavor shut down.

Sorry if I seem to have attitude, but I am very fearful that hordes of 6700 users will merrily download the kitchen, click 1000 checkboxes, and "brick" their phones... then call Sprint or Verizon.

Hey presto goodbye ppcgeeks

Anyway, glad you're real. Wish you the best of luck, and suggest to you and anyone else doing this

* try to understand it is possible for bad things to happen
* 99.9% of all bad things can be undone
* COME HERE FOR HELP FIRST IF A BAD THING HAPPENS, OR IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING
* no matter what, do NOT call your carrier if a bad thing happens

Colonel, CAN WE GET A BIG HONKING CLICK-THROUGH DIALOG BOX with something like the above THAT YOU HAVE TO "AGREE" TO WHEN YOU LAUNCH THE TOOL?

Now back to ppcgeeks, already in progress
