Post XV6700 for $80. Is this a good deal?

Hello. I am new to the PPC world and have been looking at getting a XV6800 but came across a xv6700 and for $80. It seems to have all the features of the XV6800, but a little more bulky in size. Does this seem like a good deal? Also is the 6700 difficult to Rom 6.1 and open the GPS radio on? Thank you for all your help!!

Re: XV6700 for $80. Is this a good deal?

You can add the 6.1 on quite easliy but it wont do real GPS without an external GPS receiver like a Holux 240 or 1000. You can overclock it up to 624 and it will be stable. $80 isnt too bad but hopefully it is coming with a good battery and stylus. If have several stylus and a desktop charger left over from mine. I just bought another house and moved so everything is in boxes still but lemme know if you might want it. The 67 is good but how much money are you really wanting to spend max because the 6800 (Titan/Mogul) is a much better device.

My buddy has the 6800 and I definitely would prefer that phone over the 67. I really don't want to spend over $100 on the phone. I see them going on ebay between $100-$150. I am due for an upgrade through VZ but the want $299 with the upgrade discount!!!

$80 is a good price, but the Apache 6700 is starting to show it's age. I would not count on a used unit working more than a year... (And I love my 6700) The physical design just isn't that good...

No, that is a horible deal. I can't stand seening those guys on eBay put these phones up for 150-200 dollars. They still try to sell the 6600.

Go for the 6800 or the 6900 which is cheaper.

They have more features and the look much better!

Re: XV6700 for $80. Is this a good deal?

i heard that sprint is exchanging broken 6700s for new touch pros. so in all reality if verizon is doing the same or if they eventually willthat is a pretty cheap price for a touch pro. anyone want a used 6700 for sprint? i have two.

Re: XV6700 for $80. Is this a good deal?

No, They might replace them with a Mogul or Vogue, but they will never trade for a Diamond or Pro...

Not to mention Verizon. They will never do that. They protect their gay crippled phones like gold...
