I second this... however, if the BT PAN cab that was released in March is applied, all is well again. There is an OEM for this on the FTP, if someone can confirm that it works maybe this should be included in the next release.
Which BT PAN cab released in March? I tried AKU3.x_BluetoothPAN_Fix.CAB without success.

I might stick it on one of the buttons on the left side if anyone has a preference.

Maybe it's cause I don't deal with lots of voicemail, but I like it where it is. Or I should say, where it was in your older ROM.

I can't get it to work without setting it up by hand in Softkey currently. Something seem to be resetting the value back to "calendar.exe" after it gets set to Flashlight, which is strange. The...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\TODAY\KEYS\11 2
...setting appears in...
OEM\APACHE_SETTING\0f35c436-427b-4600-8eea-d45f4668a6a0.rgu
OEM\Optional_Flashlight\3636941c-f5a6-11db-8314-0800200c9a66.rgu
..as well as in Optional_WM5NewMenu but I have that disabled.

Shouldn't the flashlight one win out, since it has a higher UUID?

What I did was add it in th WM5 New Menu. If you go to settings and open new menu, you can add it to the list because it is an executable. The exe file is in the windows folder, just have to scroll down to it.
Now I can still use it and it doesn't interfer with notifications.

Yes, adding it to WM5 New Menu works, but you still have the Notifications issue. Granted it is not that important, but I thought a hardware button assignment would be more useful. I can create different OEMS for different options if necessary.

gguruusa,

OEM path is here: ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks.com/Apache/OEMs/BT PAN-Alwaysblv1 OEM

CAB is here:
http://www.ppcgeeks.com/aku-3-5-blue...pan+fixed.html

Since I didn't feel like flashing a new ROM, I just installed the cab, reset as instructed and tried BT PAN again. Worked fine for me... I installed to Main Memory. Did you do this? Not sure what else to suggest...

Has anyone tried the BT PAN OEM in the new kitchen with success?

How is that OEM different from the one in the kitchen?

Edit: Nevermind, I see that it has the btd.dll in teh OEM. I will see if it is different from the one in the kitchen.

Colonel,
I don't think the BT PAN OEM is in R2 by default... unless it's bundled in somewhere else. I only see the BTA2DP and BTFTP OEMs.

I was just curious if anyone had tried adding the BTPAN OEM to their builds with any success so I can put it in my next one.

In the kitchen, it is just a rgu in the OEM and it should get loaded automatically.
