I seem to be having an issue with this rom, compared to others. every once in awhile, i get an SD card has been removed notification pop up, even if the phone is sitting on the table doing nothing. very strange.

Taskman I was having the same issue, so I went into setting/personal/notify me and disabled the notification

Or you can rebuild the rom and uncheck the notify me OEM check box.

This is not a bug but a suggestion that if you owner of the .rar file, please delete the nk.fat_bak in the "Splash Screen App" folder to save 64MB and download should be faster for users.

nice catch on the nk_bak.fat. That one slipped by me.

I will probably disable NotifvMe in the next Kitchen release.

Alltel ## codes

Haven't flashed R2 yet... was just wondering if the ## code issue was resolved yet. Running R1 on my Alltell phone with no problems other than the ## codes do not work at all for me. I did not include the HTC Smart Dialer if that matters.

Well, that would explain why the kitchen got so much bigger!
Don't feel bad, Colonel... it happens to the best of them.

Update on this... I tried a flash using a Vista machine and everything works now. No idea what that means, but maybe you do.

Col.,
How do I get the OEM files from the FTP into the OEM folder generated by the R2? I checked the wiki, etc.

You have two choices.
1. Download the files individually and put them in an appropriately named folder.
2. Get an FTP program that will allow you to download the folder and all its contents. (I recently did this and it's made a world of difference in my sanity.)
If anyone needs a free version of what I am using, let me know and I'll put it on the FTP.

Thanks Trident, I could use that FTP program. Also, is ther any alternative to winCE cab manager? I know there is one to break open a cab, but what about putting it back together? TIA
