Could you give the exact link? I'm having trouble finding it and I need my streaming to work!

Nevermind, found it... It works alot better... but it makes my phone act weird. The audio sounds like crap... but it skipps less. meaning it still skipps sometimes. So I'm hard resetting my phone right now and I'll try again.
I like that bluetooth stack alot more... its a newer version than what my HP iPAQ has... I think this needs to be worked on alot... instead of taking it from a non HTC phone, I think it should be taken from like the TYTN or something. I want performance in my phone... not slacking. |

This implementation is lightyears ahead of the MS BT Stack, and is working fairly well for me. I'm using the Sprint 6700 on Clean n Simple AKU 3.5 with the Motorola S9 headphones. I hard resetted before I had a successful install. I'm using the last release of TCPMP as it is more configurable than WMP and seems to skip less.
I'm still playing with the settings a bit myself, but my current LineSpeed is 325 and Blocks is 9 with SubBands at 4 (if you don't know what I'm talking about, search around for 'widcomm bt registry tweak'). Sound quality is quite good, and the best I think I can squeak out of my bt radio (it still randomly stutters occasionally). The only problem that I've not been able to fix is some volume changing abnomolies. If I close a dialogue box or press the start button sometimesit will sparratically increase or decrease the volume on the headset. Other than this flaw, I am happy with this stack, especially after spending multiple days and dozens of hard resets. By far the best A2DP option for 6700 users at the moment. |
