i have a vx6700 will generic work on mine? im using a diffrent service provider and i hate verizon and dont want the branding of it.

not a big deal I guess, coz that's what I ran on my apache. just kinda funny, I was following hemi's kitchen and associated side projects, and it was all the good reports running c&s before I was willing to take the ppc plunge. long time sprint user..

Then you got a Sprint one Lol. You always could flash another carrier's ROM then reset before customizations...

I installed it and works fast but it has too many problems for sprint version dam have to go back to 6.X unless someone has fixes for these..

1- Sprint picture website doesnt work ( does on 6.X)- Using someguysSMS for now.

2- SDHC updated drivers. Driver for 4GD works but over 4GB doesnt my card is 8GB and can only read 4gb of it. NO solution

3- Bluetooth doesnt sync in my car had no problems with 6.X NO Solution.

Besides that its awesome..

Yeah Sprin's PixMail don't work. From what I head though sMMS is much better.

Look for the 777 Team Updated SHDC card drivers.

I'm not sure bout BlueTooth.

yeah those are the drivers that i tried and looks like they only work on 6X for 8 gb. i have smms and works ok. trying 6.0 now

so i have a verizon 6700, bootloader 2.05, do i just run this exe, or do i have to revert the bootloader to 1.02??

You do not revert a 2.xx to a 1.xx version. You can revert to a v2.02 bootloader but beware that you will then have to use NoID RUU drivers. I like this ROM, but it gets an error with ActiveSync USB connections sometimes.

This ROM is Windows Mobile 5 but is clean and very fast and snappy. I love my Windows Mobile 6 and Windows Mobile 6.1 but this ROM beats all on the 6700.

They key to this ROM is that it's very clean. There's not a lot of programs and garbage pre-installed. You will love this!
