JUST NOW FINISHED MY FIRST ROM UPDATE!
Well I just finished aligning the screen and so far I'm screaming for joy. I just woke up my wife! Beeing somewhat poor (I own a DSM) and doing something l like this to such an expensive phone is scary! Right now the alltel things are installing. It says customizating. So far the thing looks like it is working!

Ok, now I just tried going to the contacts list and it flashes on and then off...? anything with that? I haven't beamed my contacts back over from my PDA. So maybe its that?

Ok I just completed a call with some weird issues. the phone program closes itself while making a call, so I have to click call status to get it back up...

BTW, I installed Kirvin AKU 3.5 Stock ROM.

Yeah, anything involving the phone minimizes itself or something... I dont know wtf is wrong?

Did you hard reset after the install? Press both the left and right soft keys and reset at the same time. It should ask you to press Y and maybe space to clear the memory.

Ok... I belive the phone didn't do a proper hard reset. so I did another one. And then when it tried to install the alltel stuff, I soft reset the phone. Now it runs schweet! minus the fact that I cannot pair my bt headset now.

I guess I didn't... I'm not confused. so I did a clear memory and now everything seems to be fine. got my bt headset working... Just gotta figure out how to get my bt stereo to stop skipping.

That is how much trouble I have when I try to install programs or anything really. I'm not too familiar with the proper procedures. I always have to get help and read read read. LOL Congrats on getting the job done!

Question however... how to get the BT A2DP Streaming to stop skipping since you the man!? Thats one of my main uses... I have a DC800 StereoMoto pluged up to my high end ///Alpine deck inside my 97 Eclipse GST. I show off the car alot and my audio system and phone are a huge atraction so I really need to get this thing working.
