Whoa! Wait a minute! I've been using Arnald's Pusmail program for quite some time. I updated to Helmi_c's WM6 and saw the pushmail, but I was under the impression that you NEED an Exchange Server to use the pushmail. Am I wrong? If so, how do you set it up to use POP mail?

True (i.e. seamless) Direct Push requires an Exchange account (which you can get for free and then forward your POP accounts to it, with some limitations.)
Arnauld's is a pseudo-push that uses SMS messages to trigger a send/receive by your device. I think this was a method used a lot for smartphones before AKU2 came out. |
