Preamp?

Someone might be able to write something that preamps the sound to all of the PDA... When I'm just playing back stuff, I use this technique via TCPMP's equalizer... I turn off the preamping when not using the earpiece... This won't work for phone calls unfortunately...

I've seen pics in different forums where people made the hole for the earpiece bigger and they said it was a great increase in volume. Its just like the one where people drill out the plastic over the speaker on the back (I know that one works because I did it myself)

hmmm, i'm not so sure that drilling is my best approach...but i really could use a little more volume, seeing as how i'm hard of hearing...stupid loud equipment putting myself through college

is the problem phone calls or music/movies?

If it's movies and music I'd suggest a good normalizing program. I run all the media that I listen to on my PPC through a batch audio normalizer which bumps the sound up enough so that I can hear it over my bluetooth headset while driving on the freeway with the window down.
