When will the new kitchen be released?

With Helmi_c's upgraded core, whats the hold-up on releasing the kitchen?

so you posted twice telling people to hurry up with your free software. It'll be here soon. These guys give us their time for free, so let them tinker until they are satisfied with the release.

No-where in the above post does it say anything about hurrying up... I'm just curious when the release will be. I'm well aware of the cost of their free time, yet helmi_c has released a new core which has very few minor problems that has been our for almost 3 weeks so I'm curious what they are holding back for.

The new core doesn't have many flaws, but it is a completely redesigned kitchen. Building a custom rom with included OEMs will be easier, but adding new OEMs is somewhat different. It isn't just a new OS and LOC folder for the old kitchen. So that's the reason for the holdup. It will be release when it's ready and worth the wait though.

To the OP:

Then choose your words more carefully. Your use of "hold-up" carries a number of neagtive implications.

I would guess there is testing and packaging going on behind the scenes.

Our first notification that the release is coming soon will likely be the release itself.

Take your time folks... we can soldier on with our barely adequate universal kitchen-based roms

Seriously, make it all shiny and goodness.

SOON. I am trying to finish up some minor adjustments. Then we will be putting together some writeups for instructions on using the new kitchen.

It's a fair question, I would take it as a positive that the demand is there for a great product.
