anyone know of a way or some sort of interface i can buy that will let me connect a usb device to my phone?
i understand mose usb device you'll need to install drivers but will it be compatible with windows mobile?

What type of USB device are you talking about? The USB on the phone puts out no power so dont think if anything that requires power via USB.

instead of getting dinged with high price internet charges, i was thinking of getting a usb internet thing from rogers where the price for data is a hell of alot cheaper.
not sure if it'd work, in my head am thinking it would not but thought i'd throw it out there to see.

You mean getting a data connection on your phone to browse and surf the net and using a standard type B mini USB cable to connect the phone to the laptop (called teathering) to use the internet on the laptop. Yeah, thats do-able and ppl do it alot.
