6700 not ring properly when call coming

Hello everyone!
My UTstarcom is reflashed with WM6, En. I installed lots of software and removed some of them. Recent software include spb phone suite, FtouchSL, PlumSIP6, MalVal MVBklight, Webster Dictionary, magicall. I removed some of them and problem still exist.
The problem I will mention bothered me a year ago, after I reflashed the new ROM, it went away, but it come back again!!!
When sb. call me, I can see the screen be lighted and left-down corner shows "call status", on the top of the screen, a picked-up phone is shown. But it doesn't ring (if I set it as ring only) until 3~7 seconds later. If I set it as vibrate, it works fine.
What's the problem on earth?
I've worked with for days without any results.
I don't believe it has any relationship with signals. Don't let me try ##778 again, please.

Only thing I can think of off hand is to make sure your ringtones are not located on your card and are in main memory.

No sir,wherever the ringtone is located, the problem is just the same.
There was no such problem a month ago!

and I assume if u look in your Sounds & Notifications then u can see them there and they are selected riight? The only other thing I can think of is to make a new tone to make sure those others are not corrupted. what are the file formats?

You are not alone! I've been having the same issue: phone will light up with an incoming call, but device won't respond to the 'answer' soft key or the green phone button to pick up. Seems like an off and on problem for me. Didn't think about it being a problem with the tone. I'll try changing that up too and seeing if it works.

that's sounds like an issue we were seeing with S2U2 for a while. Are you using that app and if so, what version.

Any ringtone, any format ringtone, any location ringtone. The same problem!

Not knowing that software. (syntax error?)

S2U2 = Slide 2 Unlock 2.

can you yse a player (WMP, Pocket Player, ECT) to play those tones?

I didn't use s2u2.
No problem with any player.
