This has a link to a sprint rom, and it doesn't even work lol ( the link to the rom that is).. Thats the problem i keep having here, very good site don't get me wrong, but appears to need some housekeeping and info updating. Or maby its just in the 6700 section since its an old phone...

I think that because the 6700 is an older phone, it will have very little up to date information.. You could post a question in that thread about how to update to 6.1... Even better, you could bake and shake your own ROM..

Installing a custom ROM and adding software to your 6700 that has no radio installed is like installing a top of the line stereo system, leather seats, and DUBS in a Ford Pinto that has no engine.. The upgrades are cool and all, but it is still a Ford Pinto (your 6700 is old) and it has no engine (no radio)... lol

No need to unlock the Apache. Most of the time the radio missing could come from a bad PRL. I was trying to get a working Cricket PRL on my old 6700 I was giving to a cousin. The first one I used made my radio disapear. I tried another one and it got my radio back. Try using some PRL's from Corolada PRL.
