Re: Apache won't turn on - have to reset to wake it up

Why don't yall give Kirvin's WM5 3.5 clean ROM a try? It really was one of the best ROMs I ever ran on my Apache!

This may sound elementary but it happened to me a few times and it was simply that I had pressed the power button too long causing the back light to turn off the last time I used it.

I actually thought that was the problem as well. I literally can't wake the thing up without resetting it.

Re: Apache won't turn on - have to reset to wake it up

I've noticed this phenomenon as well since I came off the last offical helmi (Build 19716.1.0.0)... It's almost like there are too many processes running or that perhaps there's a memory leak ... On that assumption I tried to up my pagepool but that seemed disastrous as my ppc would never complete a bootup sequence. So now I've been playing around in an attempt to see just what program is kill the PPC in my case ... Fingers were initially pointing at WkTaskL_1200a... But that idea was short lived ... I'm going to be offline for a few days and will pick this up next week ... If I find something that in my case works, I'll post my selections ...
