Opera Mini - Hotmail Attachments?

Someone had recommended Opera Mini as a way to get attachments in hotmail. However, I can't for he life of me figure it out. It seems to be running great, but after I select the attachment - it scans the attachment via virus scan. Then I'd have the option to save it to my PC (on a desktop). On the mobile, the screen just reloads to the same screen - I can't get the attachment.

Has anyone got this to work?

I'm not sure how you are even doing that with mini. Opera Mini won't let you do attachments or anything like that.

Have you tried Opera Mobile and see if that works?

Yep, I've since tried Opera Mobile and it seems to work even worse.

Opera Mini takes me to the standard hotmail inbox. Opera Mobile only takes you to the mobile version of the inbox - so you can't even consider getting or sending attachments.

I'd searched this thread - and am all out of options:

Httpmail no longer works unless you subscribe to hotmail plus, which I'm unwilling to do.

In Opera Mobile you can goto Menu -> Tools -> Settings and choose Identify as Desktop computer. It let me into the full HTML site doing it that way.

Thanks for the tip - I've tried that and it works. I've also downloaded Windows Live Mobile - which allows me to get attachments through outlook.

I'll use whichever's the least annoying - I'm going on a business trip where getting attachments will be very important. Opera Mobile takes up 6 megs of space and costs 24 bucks, while WLM is free, but takes up a LOT of program memory throughout the day. Also, I have no idea when that beta's getting cancelled again.

Thanks again.
