I put BigJ's 1.6u Rom on my newly arrived replacement 6700. Everything seems to work and it is incredibly stable (YMMV when using XCPUScalar...my 6700 doesn't like being overclocked it seems).
http://ppcgeeks.com/bigjs-revision-1...-07-t4629.html Edit: Can't tell ya battery life since my batteries are all new and its going to take a couple more charge cycles to get them up to full capacity. |

I used to spend endless hours messing with my 6700 back "in the day". I was trucking along with the stock ROM for the longest time. Got a replacement phone and took that as a chance to get back in the game.
I have tried a couple ROMs, and none of them seem to have that perfect mix. Plus each creator breaks down their offering differently, so it's hard to compare. Some guys post the regedits etc that they have, others just list programs. You basically need to run each one and see what you like, that is the journey I am on now. You will find some are missing .net and have an ugly cleartype setting, the next will have BT issues, another fills you up with too many themes, the next one hasn't done that certain hack you want. I would say the clean and simple will be the most stable just by it's nature. |

I use the Clean and Simple for Sprint based on the Unified kitchen. i have been pretty happy with it. Read the different ROM threads to get a feel for what people are using the devices for. Different people will have different experiences, partially based on what they use their phone for.

Or, you can roll your own and get just what you want. I rolled mine with ALL my standard programs, the CBOW theme, .net CF2 and .net CF1, and the Bluetooth fix. Couldn't be happier, and it just took a few hours and a mildly angry wife to get it perfect.
