New ROM kitchen?

Before I try messing around with creating a new custom ROM... I was wondering when the new ROM kitchen we keep getting hints dropped about is going to get released?
If it's not going to be for a long time, that's OK, I'll just use the current one.
But if it's going to be in the next week, then I'll wait.
