Honestly i Quit
for some strange reason i can get my ppc to sync its contactsd with outlook. before i was using the wrong outlook, i was using the email one but than i installed microsft outlook 2002 and i still ant get it to work. and i need to get it to work so i can do an hard reset on this device

ok dont give up. what are you trying to sync before you do a hard reset? I honestly dont know why ur having probelms, and lets go through this again. First answer the above ? then tell me what error r u getting, if any? What are you doing and what the ppc and pc's reactions?

i got very frustrated an i didsomething that worked i dont know how i be getting these thing to work but i deleted my profile off activ sync than i plug the 6700 back in than it went throught some installtion i never seen beofre than the contacts were there. but all thsi time i been sending .cab file to the phone and stuff i never seen that screen

yea if u delete the profile, u will get the setup screen on the desktop when u plug it in with the settings for syncing contacts and what not..... so this is fixed? or still probelms?

yeah its fix and working again but i just dont understand why it wouldnt work for the 2 weeks i had this thing so far, i cant be that dumb now or could i....

anytime that happens just follow the instructions above for the profile. As always make sure you back up ur contacts before doing this
