Free unlimited text msgs promotion for SERO accounts.

I sent this email to Sprint:

I understand that the newest SERO plans now offer "free unlimited text" text messaging.

I would appreciate it if this could be added to my account without extending the terms of my current contract.

I got this reply:

Thank you for contacting Sprint. I will be happy to answer your question regarding adding the free unlimited text messaging plan to your account.

Currently Sprint has a promotion for free unlimited text messaging for customers that are on the SERO plan. I have added this plan to your account effective today. Adding this plan did not extend the contract on the line.

It was a pleasure assisting you today. {sic - I never called} If you have any more questions feel free to contact us at any time. Thank you for choosing Sprint together with Nextel. We appreciate your business. Have a great day!

I don't really use text messaging, but what the heck - if it's free.

Here is the procedure to send Sprint an email:

1) Log into My Sprint Wireless account via http://www.sprint.com
2) Click on "Contact Us" (at the top of the page, after you are logged on)
3) Click on "Email us" (small in-line link within first paragraph; on click window closes and main window redirects to form)
4) Filled out form, selecting "Other" as the topic.

Sorry, I was pretty sure it had not been previously posted in the Apache forum. I don't religiously read the other forums - as what other phone is there but the 6700? Anyway I shoulda searched first. I see you took advantage of the offer, so hopefully others that don't ususally read the general discussion foirum may catch it here before the promotion ends.
