Unhappy 6700 took a dump, mogul?

Hey all, been lurking long enough its time to post!

as the title says my trusty Apache has taken a dump! my problems started when i first got the phone last march, with the bluetooth.

At first it would randomly connect to a phantom headset, (don't you have to set up a connection???) and not allow me to hear from the earpiece or the speaker.

didn't have anything for space due to sprint bloatware, and therefore would crash quite often requiring a soft reset.

The above problems were solved when i found PPC Geeks and loaded up Helmi's 6.0 ROM Thanks Helmi!

Everything was flawless as it seemed. 5 months later the bluetooth started acting up, only this time it would shut off, and couldn't turn back on without a soft reset. it didn't care if you were talking at the time or listening to music, it would just kill.

Then came the problems with the Mini SD card. it would randomly stop recognizing it, requiring me to insert and remove the card multiple times to get it to recognize it. Often, it required a soft reset before it would recognize it again. Now the phone has FRIED 2 mini SD cards in a week! my computer wont even pull them up!

And lastly it has begun randomly HARD resetting and wiping ALL of my personal data. Thankfully I do sync often. It will wipe everything at a rate of 3 - 5 times a week. you can tell when its coming close to wiping because when you close programs half of the screen becomes a masterpiece of zig zags on a white background before going back to the today screen.

I Loaded up the OEM sprint ROM and brought it into sprint yesterday to see if they could replace it. hoping the whole while i may get my hands on a mogul to replace it as the 6700 has since disappeared off of the sprint website in my zip code.

While in the store the guy looked up my account and noticed that my contract expires in january and then tried selling me an Upgrade (mogul or Touch Pro) which then made my hopes shatter. (authorized retailer, not owned by sprint)

All he did with my phone was update the software, fast forward 13 hours and my phone reset again..... turn it on to see "tap screen to begin setup"

Now is there a sure fire way to get sprint to replace it with a mogul? dont get me wrong id be fine with another 6700 but I'm really wanting a mogul because i signed up for the everything plan, in hopes of being able to use everything with my phone, the salesman just neglected to inform me that not EVERYTHING would work with my phone... just data and voice is all.
Now knowing that the 6700 isnt capable of doing everything, ive noticed that the mogul can do much more....

I plan on going to an official sprint store tomorrow to see what they can do but does anyone know exactly what should be done to increase the chances of getting your hands on a mogul? (or as the guy last night put it "another end-of-life phone") or maybe even a touch pro ( i may be pushing it)

BTW i do have TEP and have had it since i started 2 years ago with a razor

Thank you all much!
