Re: Android *RELEASE* on HTC Apache *UPDATES*

Can do. I'm at work right now and left my home system up and running in Windows so it's not remotely accessible at the moment. When I get back to the house I will post my kitchen config for WM6.1.

Currently I am running:
WM6.1 build 5.2.19716.1.0.0
ROM 3.61.00 WWE
Radio 1.10.00

HaRET is supposed to work regardless of version but it is possible a third party application is causing a conflict. If this still doesn't help work out the issue I'll try and get a debug initrd up for you tonight that ought to print some additional debug information to the screen to help narrow this down further.

Im guessing my SD card is not compatible, somewhere I see, "SD Card unrecognized SCR structure" or something... I'll get another card and try later... I'll post my results... if you guys do too, post results... good luck.

Hmmm, are you using a mini SDHC card or a mini SD?

On a side note, I'm pretty sure I built support into the kernel for delayed kernel messages. If you change the value of boot_delay=0 to boot_delay=1000 in the startup.txt the kernel will wait 1000 milliseconds (1 second) between printing kernel messages to the screen which might help reveal further details.

Im using 256 MicroSD with adapter... I just have the SDHC driver in case I want to throw in a 4 or 8GB card... never tried it though...

I will cook a new rom without the SDHC drivers to test, also I'll try to make it as clean as possible not to many third party apps... I'll post results :)

Let me know how it works out, I wasn't able to find my current kitchen selections, only my older set.

You are amazing... I turned the phone's radio on and everything else off and ... tada!! It's now booting.... :):)

Another confirmation. I was continually stuck on the black screen with the "Jumping to Kernel..." line. I reset the 6700 and turned the radio on and it started booting. Interesting... Thanks so much for that tip..

My personal site will be down for a day, apparently I was pushing updates to the server I was migrated from, which was taken offline today. So... I have to restart and repopulate my site/blog/files, should have it back up soon.

Just wanted to recommend logmein.com for your system when it's in Windows. Excellent for "away from home" control.

Does anyone have the instructions archived? I downloaded the files but can't get anything to load. I'm sure I'm just missing some steps.
