Not getting notified of new e-mail in a subfolder

I just got a new XV6700 from my job to use. I have installed the Clean and Simple AKU 3.5 ROM. We have an Exchange 2003 server and I have a number of subfolders under my Inbox with rules set for organization.

The issue I seem to have is that for any e-mails that automatically get sent to a subfolder I do not get a notification. The sync does happen, and the e-mails are coming through. I do get notified for any e-mails that go to the main Inbox, just not for those routed to a subfolder. Any ideas?

Send a message via AIM to jamesus Send a message via Yahoo to jamesus
I think that the messaging notifications only applies to the Inbox.

Correct, notification of new mail only applies to inbox, not it's subfolders.

That's what I was afraid of. If this is something you dev types can do something with, I would be forever grateful!

It's been looked into, it's an issue with the os itself.
