Disable Keyboard?

Is there anyway to disable the keyboard from popping up everytime you are going to enter any text anywhere? I never use it and it always pops up and leaves me with less space on the screen. I tried searching but didn't find anything.

I can tell you there is but I cant remember where I seen it as it was SOOO long ago. So hold on a bit more and lets see if anyone else remembers. Sorry.
