BigJ's Revision 9.6 (Mario!) KITCHEN. Public Offering
Public Offering of kitchen 9.6 -- I am finished building on this kitchen platform, as such I am releasing it to you guys to do whatever you would like with it. I am not releasing the 1.0u kitchen yet, as I have not had adequate time to test it, and it may be very unstable. The 9.6 one however, you are more than welcome to.
I only have a few stipulations for using my kitchen 1 - I will offer absolutely ZeRo support for the kitchen, and any rom created with it 2 - Please no public releases of RoMs made with the kitchen, without asking (PM me if you feel you have good motivations for public releases) thats about it haha, you should have no problems retracing my steps, and modifying it to suit your needs. All of the original files can be found simply to restore the wm5 look as well. Enjoy http://www.woofiles.com/dl-31902-yEb...n42407r9.6.rar Attached to this msg as well are the files you will need to theme the phone. Anyways, after a hard reset the startup sound is "Alarm2.wav" ... after wich the bootsound is "Default.wav" NEVER make the default.wav more than about .3 seconds long because its also the same sound that plays when you adjust the volume on the phone and it will only move when the sound file finishes playing. There is one more boot sound when it switches from splash1 to splash2 but everytime ive modified it, the phone wont boot properly. The file pack i gave you will not only give you an idea of what needs to be modified, but the correct sizes etc.... especially since youve seen them "in action" in the mario rom. Of things to note 1: the default.stwater file is actually a PNG file... rename it to PNG to edit in photoshop... SAVE it as a PNG... and rename it back to a gif... the other two files are when its in portrait mode or landscape 2: dont f*ck with sound files other than those listed in my packs... doing so will hose your build and make your phone VERY unstable. You can "ADD" more *.wav sounds as long as you continue to name them "Alarm1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ..... etc. 3: I didnt include the bootup BMP i used to convert for the initial splash screen. just make sure its in 240x320 (8 or 16 bit color depth)... the mario.nb boot file is in the kitchen. If you need my PSD files, they are MASSIVE so PM me if you *really* need a PSD for some reason and let me know why, you should have no problems with both of my theme file packs. A TON of my OEM packages are missing initflashfiles.txt to make the shortcuts.... look in Z_Reg_Tweaks folder for the "MASTER" shortcut file as well as all of the registry entries applied to the build in the final stages of "CreateOS.exe" I know some stuff is in awkward places, and other edits are made to the LOC & OS folders themselves, but it should be relatively easy to trace my steps/chaos. Enjoy, and no, I will not "Tech Support" this release as I do with my ROMS. If you have specific technical questions then please post, any other type of "request" will be ignored.

http://ppcgeeks.com/bigjs-revision-1...-07-t4629.html im sure you will get a better understanding of what is possible. This kitchen was the base for this rom located here http://ppcgeeks.com/bigjs-revision-9...-07-t3270.html Basicly the kitchen file here, is what built the r9.6 ROM that I made public. The top post is the ROM im currently releasing public but there is currently no plans to release my kitchen for the unified rom at this time. That may change in the future, guess youll just have to stay tuned! Enjoy the kitchen, if you dont want to build your own however, enjoy my ROM! |
