Is there a way to SMS to a pager number?

when you go to send a text, the smartdial feature makes a list of contact mobile numbers pop-up....is there any way to make it show pager numbers???

I've tried adding phone numbers for every single line in a contact without success. Unfortunately there is no line for mobile2 (a second mobile line). This, I think, would solve my issue.

What I've done for contacts at work is add a seperate entry for them in contacts with their alphanumeric pager as a mobile. Only now when I voice dial, I get two contacts to come up when I say,"Call Mr X mobile."
I have to manually look at the phone and decide which one is the correct one.


I'm thinking of adding a contact for each with "pager" as the last name...

Unless someone knows how I can SMS automatically (easily)to a pager.
