Bluetooth Fix

Hi: First off, thanks 1,000,000 to the Colonel for all the work putting together these ROMS. Totally awesome.

Angel12 / Anybody - what (and where) is the Bluetooth Fix? I'm having an issue where once the BT is turned off on my phone, I can not turn it on again without reseting my device. Perhaps this fix will help?

Also, when I soft reset, I find I have to reset 3-4 times on average before everything loads properly. The other times my 6700 seems to hang on the today screen - sometimes with only the top line and the bottom menu, other times with the whole screen filled in but inoperable. Anybody else seeing this issue?

I was having these same issues, what I did was reflash to the Sprint original Rom, and then reflash to Colonels Final rom. I had went directly from colonels 3.5.8 rom to the 3.5 final rom without flashing the Sprint official rom first. I know some of us dont like to do these hard resets and reflashing because it takes time. This was my solution for my problems, I have a week running the rom on the second reflash and I've only had to reset my phone once this week, due to a problem with my data, other than that my phone has been running smoothly with non of the problems stated above as I previously had.

Try it..hope it works for you as well....

Colonel, I cant thank you enough, looking forward to your next rom....

Keep us posted.

I was playing w/some settings recently after having more issues with freezing after a soft reset.
I stopped using O2 a little while ago- all I did was remove it from the Today Screen settings;Items. While playing w/MemMaid in trying to rearrange my program startup order, I noticed O2 was still there. Since removing it, resets are spectacularly fast and not one hang. [caveat: it's only been 12 hours]

I'm about to load this rom on my phone. "Newbie here". Does this rom include something that makes your earpiece louder? or even your ringtones?

Colonel,

As you build your new ROM would you please consider updating some of your programs to the current versions? I know that LVM Time and Cyberon Voice Commander have newer versions.

Thank you for all of your hard work, I love your ROM.

Anything you can do to make stereo bluetooth work more dependably would be a great help. I got to listen to my stereo headphones only once with the ROM and nothing since?????

Have been using the 3.5 ROM for a week now and I really love it! Nice Job Colonel.

One question - is there any sort of control panel front end for NotifyMe? I can't find any way to alter the settings. Mostly I'd just like to disable it altogether, but I can't find a way to do so. Advice/clues appreciated.

dparks, in Settings

Wizzard, I probably won't update this rom (for now at least), but there should be updates in the new rom I am working on. Actually, I dont even thing LVM Time is in this rom. As far as stereo BT, I dont have stereo headphones so it is difficult for me to test this.

ok i have a major problem with freezing, the phone turns on then works for 10-30 seconds and then freezes. the today screen looks sweeet as hell, but it would be nice to actually be able to use it.

**reinstalled and its working fine now, cant wait to use it

Glad to hear it's working... but I found that after a while what you described starts happening again.
Curiously, I haven't had a freeze for over 48hrs... since I installed the new beta for WisBarAdvance3. I had a suspicion that WBA2 and/or WBL were causing lockups, so I had not been using either for a while- but I still had an average of 2 lockups per day that required either a soft reset or (if I was really lucky) removal/reinsertion of the SD card.
WBA3 also seems to have some memory management improvements that have stopped some slow memory leaks from happening. Very impressed so far, especially considering it's a beta version.

ya still freezing every 10 secs, ive tried everything. maybe ive dropped my phone 1 too many times or something, but if i istall 2.2 rom it works just fine so i dont know. but also my memory card has stopped working. first all the media got wiped off it and now its not working at ALL.

i really dont want to go back to 3.3 so please somebody help. it did work decently for 1 time, but the customization wouldnt finish, it was stuck on 99% so i soft reset and it just went back to crap
