pretty close - only thing is that base ROM is not really 6800, but 6700 as 6800 is WM6 but 6700 is WM5.

I had the same problem with the contacts opening and closing immediately. I figured out what fixes it. A hard reset will not do it. If you use the PIm included to update your contacts and back them up it will not work. I re flashed twice. Then I took my card out re flashed and didnt let it try to update my contacts now it works like a champ. You will just have to re enter your contacts or re up them another way. It sucks I know. Well I am going to enter my 150 contacts back in. There may be another way to fix it but this is what I found worked.

11111, easiest fix for this is to flash back to the stock carrier rom and use your pim.vol to restore contacts. Then either back them up with activesync, an exchange server like Mail2web, or use PIMBackup (can be found at xda-developers.com). Once you do this, flash back to the custom rom and then restore your info from there.

Is there a way to not use the iContacts ans use the regular contacts app ?

I tried to download the rom for other carriers and it is a dead link. Does any one know where to find this?

I believe most of the roms were deleted accidentally at some point and they have not been put back up since WM6 has come out. I would suggest trying out WM6 kitchen as it has just about everything if not more. I dont even know if I still have my 3.5 stuff handy. Maybe someone will still have it and could be nice enough to upload it. Regardless, I really suggest checking out WM6.
