colonel, I have installed 3.5 (other carrier) on my Verizon xv6700. Everything went smoothly, I canceled the Verizon EXT rom installs and, much like wheelna, My reception is horrible now.
It just switches from Extended to Verizon Wireless and I cannot answer incoming calls. I see them ring it. I Hit answer.... the Calling party can hear me, but I cannot hear them. The call disconnects moments later. I am going to try hard-resetting a few times, but I looks like wheelna and I are in the same boat. Has anyone else done this with a Verizon Phone? Thanks! |

You might need to let the Verizon ExtRom install. The only rom up there that has ExtRom stuff built in is the Sprint one. People say you dont need the Verizon ExtRom, but it might help. Also make sure you have the latest radio, PRI, and PRL etc.
