texting lag

well i just updated my xv 6700 to windows 6.1 whenever i text someone it takes a while to load and unless i text pretty slowly al my mesges end up lokin lik ths. is there somehow i can fix this?

Well, it's a well known 6700 error even from the old days of original ROM. The device just has a severe typing lag. Not much can be done.

What version of WM6.1 are you using. I don't think that the latest kitchen releases have had nearly the issue of the previous ones. I know that with just slightly modified word suggestion settings, you can get it to have little or no lag at all with 20255

I know mine will lag if I have little or no signal and turning off Wor Suggestion helps also

Mine will lag as well. I noticed before when I had older ROM's it would be soooo slow, but I have the new one from ppckitchen which seems to be ok but yet its not as quick as my fingers still, but works ok for the most part.

Turning off the 'auto complete' function. I find this slows down typing a lot, although I don't know how it plays into texting.
