Slow input selector

I have seen posts on this in various places (after many googles and searching this site) but most are old and without solutions. Does anyone know how to speed up the input selector, mine is very slow. I did a hard reset last night and installed voice command first to see if that was it and it was not, but now after hours of trying to get mms working on my verizon phone, I forgot to check it and now it is slow again, is there a registry setting that someone knows about??
thanx

I remember this happening to me, but I do not have a solution for you. Which rom are you running? I have not seen this issue lately with my 3.5 roms.

I've discovered something interesting. The day I posted my first post about this problem I hard reset my phone and installed all my original software with no effect on the input selector, I felt all was good. Last night I discovered one piece of software that I forgot to install...SKTools. Today I had a slow input selector again. I did a hard reset and installed all the software including SKTools and the selector was slow again. Then to test I installed only SKTools on a fresh hard reset and the first time I used the input selector it was slow, successive uses in the session were normal speed. I reset the machine again and install all the original software excluding SKTools and the input selector is fine. Where in SKTools would there be something that would affect the selector??
