So, Looks like wm5torage hosed my activesync again...

Anywho, it certainly appears to be the case... Because every time I so much as attempt to activate the program my activesync is instantly screwed over and never works till I hard reset again... I can still charge the 6700 through the computer, But no luck with W.M.D.C. no connection at all... I dont even see a Mobile Device listed in device manager...

Any ideas people besides another hard reset? (I would like to avoid a hard reset, Phone for the most part is working GREAT!)

Well, I'm not sure what you're doin wrong, I've used wm5torage for over a year and never had anything like what you're talking about happen.

You are supposed to have a miniSD in your device, open wm5torage, then activate it, then attatch it to your computer.

When you are done moving files, detach it from the computer, then deactivate wm5torage, then close wm5torage.

ActiveSync should not activate at all, your computer should think a removable storage device has been added to it, and it should act accordingly.

Well, wm5torage for me worked just fine as well, Exactly as you described the process... But its after I de-activate it is where the problems start... from the looks of it, It is failing to give control back to the regular USB drivers that handle the sync and such, resulting in no activesync connections. I guess ill have to write everything down and hard reset again... talk about a buzz kill...

I would think a soft-reset would do it if it's just a matter of some driver getting borked in the running OS.

Well, I would have thought that myself, But also, No luck on the soft resets... So I figure, for now I'm just gonna bite the bullet and Hard Reset the phone again, And in the meantime, Attempt to track down the exact cause of the issues with activesync.

That's strange.. I've been using it for awhile now also.. I never have run into any issues with it.. I just activate it, plug in USB cable and up pops the autoplay window.. I then do what needs to be done, click deactivate and unplug it..
