Ext Rom full of corrupted files - how do I fix this?

After a recent flash my ext rom is full of corrupted files, some think they are 500gigs and have messed up names, and it won't let me delete them.

is there any way to wipe the ext rom?

Try that thread on how to make it writeable. If all else fails just reflash with stock ROM.

I did look around

was not sure if that was the same thread

oh well

had to use the stock updater to clear it.

too bad there isn't a ext rom flash/clear tool ripped from the offical updater
