On the PPC6700, there is a "master reset" code... ##786#.
I know this works on older Sprint phones and some newer ones- you'll need an MSL. I know Verizon's system is different, but someone with more knowledge can probably tell you if this has a chance of working. This code would actually wipe ALL programming from the device and allow a complete restoration of the firmware as well as software.

![]() Sorry. Off the top of my head... I once had a computer that had gotten a corrupt MBR and nothing I did (even linking to another computer) worked. What did work was when I removed the HD and had a friend look at it using a Linux machine. I wonder if a Linux box could establish a connection- at least enough to be able to flash the ROM? Probably not, but just dreaming... ![]() |
