6700 Memory card problems!

HI! I have been lurking for a while, and you guys seem to
know pretty much everything about these phones, so Please help!
I bought the 6700, then a Sandisk 2 gb card.
I switched the camera to memory card, but now
I can't find the pics I have taken. I think I have looked at every spot there is.
I went through doc, then, pics too, nothing.
Then, I tried to sync with windows media center to copy a cartoon for my son, and it states Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.
So, then I used my Media Center and seemed to sync, but seems nothing is on my card still, except a few songs I put on it, right after I got it, and its a pain just to get them up.
Any help would be great!! I am very new to this phone.
Thanks guys!

I looked there but it is empty, even the my documents folder is empty, I could find them fine, until I changed the setting to storage card.

when you open your file explorer do you have "Storsge card" and "Storage card 2" if you do just follow these simple steps "EJECT THE STORAGE CARD FROM THE DEVICE" now open your file explorer and all you should have is Storage Card (trust me on this i know it sounds f'd up) deleat Storage Card just tap and hold till the drop down box comes up and hit deleat.

Now reinsert the card in the device and open file explorer again it should only say storage card then go and find the files

if the storage card is not ready when its needed upon a soft or hard reset some times it will just creat a file called Storage Card then when the card is ready there is already a file by that name so it makes a #2

hope this helps

Ok, When I open File Exployer, I have only 1 storage card, shows my music and a music and documents folder, which for some reason right now when I click on it, it is just colored, but not opening, But everytime I have looked in the Documents and/or to the pictures they are empty.

Last time I had this problem, the file system on my SD card was f'd up. You can search for JPGs using the built in WM search function, or if you have another program like Total Commander or Resco Explorer, you can use those utilities to search your SD card and your system. They will tell you whether or not the files are on your card or PDA at all. If they seem to be completely missing, i recommend copying whatever data u can off the SD card and then reformat the card and put whatever data back on to the card. This fixed my problem last time I had it...... I lost 600 MB of data/programs when it happened to me though
