Are BigJ & jbabey the same?
If so, I wanted to thank you for the amazing new Kitchen directions.

Freezes / lockup advice

One thing I've noticed with Pocket PC's in general is that today plug-ins often cause a lot of freezes & lockups. Some just aren't designed well. Try leaving them off for awhile and see if your problems go away. If so, turn a few back on and see if the problem returns. I found the factory plug-ins work fine but 3rd party apps are the worst offenders.

Spot on there...same amazing person.

Seriously J - your directions are better than the manual that Sprint includes with their phones.

Jscript Runtime Error

Could someone please help me fix this error, "jscript runtime error" when I click on links in pocket IE with pie plus 2.2. I have the latest Jbabey's final rom BigJ_1.6u. when I click the link in pie page, nothing happens. I've looked in this forum, and couldn't find anyone with the same issue. Please help, very much appreciated!

VOIP and BT Headset Works!

Another awesome feature is now working on BigJs ROM. I have SJPhone and my Plantronics BT 910 headset now working with Broadvoice!! The BT Audio app in BigJ's ROM works great to route the audio to the BT headset.

The calls are great quality, no delay, no echo over my WiFi DSL. This is truly AWESOME!

Listen up folks, and listen closely....

When you find yourself without a stylus (and you will sooner or later) do NOT take the battery out whenever a reset is required. You will f' up your phone and will blame it on everything but yourself.
I figured this out the hard way.

If you reboot via battery removal enough times you will eventually find that it will get unstable (at best) or will likely freeze upon booting. Sometimes the only way out of it is to then HardReset.

However, it is also possible that perhaps on one of the dozens of HardResets my phone self-corrected a flaw which was causing the freezing problem- but I'm not taking my battery out again to test this. Just something definitely worth keeping in mind just in case, as I haven't seen anyone else mention this. Seems like it freezed (unrecoverably) most often when the battery was very low and the battery was then removed and then put back in.

Is there a quick way to disable PIEPlus, while being able to get it back easily? I have a feeling it is interfering with a webapp that worked before i flashed to BigJ's rom.

I want to test to see if its PIEPLus... but i dont want to kill it all together since it seems to be a nice addition.

You can install NetFront and switch between the two.

Also consider installing .Net 2.2 - depending on what you're trying to accomplish.
