BigJ's Revision 1.6u (FINAL!) ROM updated: 5/22/07

BigJ, Thanks for all the cool stuff. I am up on 1.6u now and liking it a lot. I am sorry to say that I still dont have any joy with BT PAN or WModem BT. Neither of my laptops can discover the 6700 BT PAN. I am using Sprint if that makes a difference.

I dont use PA or PW however I do use PIE+ and I like the scrolling by just dragging the stylus (or finger) and fit to page it provides. If you remove it, please provide the Cab for easy install.

I am struggling to find a VOIP client that will work with Broadvoice. I almost have SJPhone working (finally got it to register but now it cant resolve callee's address). I will keep you posted

oh trust me boyz, im far from done, testing with the new core now, and my "Reloaded" ROM is farking fantastic!!! A lot of cool surprises in for you guys to so stay tuned!

install helmi_c's test rom if you would like to take a look at something that is built with it and available now. The more feedback he gets, the sooner we can start to see public releases and hopefully a new kitchen!

I have had a few lockups on my phone on 1.6u... no particluar pattern.

I remmebre having similar issue on 1.4 (or maybe 1.3), thought it was linked to PA settings.

I never enabled the PA on 1.6u, but still having these issues.

JBabey - another thing I've noticed is that the www.google.com not displays searches in a weird 'wapified' format.

I've had a few issues as well. My wireless connectin has disappeared once or twice, and a few random freezes, nothing major. My biggest complaint is that PIE is unusable, I can't check my gmail, or even wap.espn.com. It just closes itself out on almost all web pages. Sometimes a soft reboot lets me in, but often it doesn't. I ended up installing Minimo, but that app is awful, so I've flashed back to 1.3 beta 2.

i run PIE+ and i have no problems with it. i wonder if its because i bought PIE+ and am not running on an expired demo.........

I wonder if the problems could be related to the Crossbow theme. I have gone back to default. Now, phone alarm seems to be behaving perfectly!

Check at the bottom of the page. It should give you an option to change it..I think it says view in mobile or classic...so click clasic. That should help. I use google for my home page..
