Eric, thx for the reply. I've played with all of those options, and yet it still will not scroll page by page. Any other ideas?

im wholly confused as to what you are reffering, i can stylus on the side scroll and it goes a page down, if i grab it and drag the stylus it scrolls like normal. Sorry (dont use the internet on the phone very often) but is there a way you may be able to elaborate, or possibly post up screenshots.

and grats on stumping me

Thx, I do what I can...

Sooooo I am using your latest ROM (GREAT job, btw) and am having problems getting PIE Plus to scroll page by page when using the stick (you know, the 4 way navigation stick in between the buttons near the bottom of the fone). When I select "Scroll" in options in PPlus, and deselect "Scroll like IE" and then select "scroll by page" for the 4-way and the jogger options, exit PiePlus, start it up again and attempt to scroll using the stick, it STILL scrolls link to link (it selects the next link on the web page I am viewing) as opposed to simply skipping a whole page down.

I hope that is more clear, but if not, you know where to find me.

Thanks for addressing my prob,

--B

I like the nice touch 'Mario's Phone'.

Is it possible to offer that as a question while setting up the phone initially ? I always wanted to ask for that option as that is the first thing I do to go and change the device name....

Wondering how to make 3 way calls on the new 1.2u?

When I get a call while I'm on a call, the switch option isn't available?

And I can't answer it, it freezes up the phone, or drops both calls?

Any ideas, suggestions on this would be great!

Thanks

Resolved bizzare picturemail issue, please see page 1 (right at the top) may need a cab file. c the pic mail issue thread for it

-Picturemails show up tiny and your unable to download the pic/vid

The keys are incorrect for Platform & Version.

Quote:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent]
"Version"="MSIE6.0"
"Platform"="Windows CE"
Change that to the below and soft reset (make sure the key still changed when you boot back up)
"Version"="PIE"
"Platform"="WM5

Picturemail should now show up properly!

PIE scrolling with D-Pad

all i found was some info on the actual PIEPLUS site, its the 5th entry up from the bottom with a picture of how it works and what settings you can change the topic is called "Navigate with D-Pad or Jog Dial"

http://www.reensoft.com /PIEPlus/

I hope this helps ><

Email Attachments

I'm having problems opening attachments to my emails. I'm using an exchange server and downloading the attachments to the SD card. I can't open the attachments directly from the email or when I save a copy from the email to either the phone or the storage card. Actually it appears that the attachments are not saving at the correct sizes and are corrupting some how.

I am not having this issue with either word docs or bmp attachments (the 2 i tested). You may want to double check your settings. I did my tests on a pop3 enabled GMAIL account.

I *FINALLY* found a copy of the marsware weatherpanel and will be testing. If it appears more stable, and works quickly, is just as configurable, and lets you find cities easily then ill see no reason to not include it over the spb.

Thanks for the tip, its a really neat looking todayplugin!
