i guess my next question is... how much space have you left us for customization with other OEMs?

PS - i removed all the OEMs and it looks like its building fine. im going to start doing some testing on how much room we have.

the lockups on bootup are usually an indication of too many extra OEMs.

edit:

Ok did some really quick tests.

Unified Rom Folder Sizes:

LOC - 3.69MB
OS - 40.7MB
OEM - 15.1MB

Helmi_c AKU 3.5 Folder Sizes:

LOC - 2.98MB
OS - 38.9MB
OEM - 20.3MB

My Maxed out AKU 3.5 rom (most i could add without the system locking up on bootup) Folder sizes:

LOC - 2.96MB
OS - 38.4MB
OEM - 36.4MB

So yeah... im stumped why the new kitchen is having issues. I added in roughly 17mb of OEMs, and even with the 2 extra MB in the OS folder of the new Kitchen, im still under the amount i put into the modified Helmi_c one i made.

I am having the exact same problem.....
I had the same problem until I realized I was trying to build the VoiceCommand on top of the Cyberon OEM. Once I took out the Cyberon OEM, things went peachy.

Ok don't want to stray from topic but:
Uploading the existing available OEMs are a pain in the @ss!
Because they are not zipped, so I have to download contents individually...
And now I have 2 be carefull to upload it properly and review the files...
And then I have 2 go one at a time 2 see if each actually works at all without resulting rom freeze...

Looks like now we need a "unified OEM list".

.....I finally did my own rom with some custom oem's in place!! I found some oem's from xda-developers site for the HTC Universal kitchen that were rar'd and also used love2chills rar'd files and everything started working Thanks for all of the input and troubleshooting help. Looks like it was an oem (not sure which one at this point) to help clarify. I used firefox to download the unrar'd ones so the binary was probably screwed up.....

When I run the create OS exe I get an error saying to delete the DEV/Temp directory. I have searched my computer but I am unable to find it. Any clues on where it might be?
