did you sync them from your upgrade off of aku 2.x ?
if you did, hard reset and resync, something seems to have gone horribly wrong. we need info what 3.5 rom are you running? do other people with that rom have that issue? did you sync them in after upgrading from aku 2.x?

-reflash the stock ROM on there, sync your sh*t back in -run PIM Backup and dump your stuff to the storage card -reflash kirvin back onto your phone -run PIM Bacup and "RESTORE" the file from your storage card Ive only come across this issue twice, and both times this resolved the problem... ive attached the PIM Backup application for you, its an exe so drop it on your storage card and run it from your phone |

There is another thread that says they changed the database structure. You have to dump your pim.vol, make sure your outlook file is in the order you want it to be and resync. I am working on this problem right now trying to clean up the file I used on a Palm before porting it to Outlook.

ok, I'm running same rom, on my contacts I just type the first letter and it will highlight a group of contacts with same letter and the first number of the contact. I just didn't notice before since I have the box checked to show names only. if u check that box it doent show ur contacts number so it won't highlight the first number. no biggie at least for me. if it helps I synced my contacts throu mail2web.
